SAINT ANTHONY (JANUARY 17 January 17)
Patron saint of animals, in whose procession the image is accompanied by a large number of participants who bring their pets to be blessed by the parish priest of the church of Santa Maria.
As a tradition, large bonfires are built and the typical “tortas en sartén” are made, a fried dough that is handmade in ovens and a multitude of homes.
It is celebrated in the church of Santa María.

SAN SEBASTIÁN (January 20)
One of the most popular celebrations in the city, in which the saint venerated throughout the year in the parish of Santa Quiteria, goes in procession accompanied by a large number of horsemen to his hermitage.
The bonfires in his honor are lit again and as a tradition, people jump rope in the Plaza del Arenal and cakes are baked in a frying pan again.
LA CANDELARIA (February 2)
The procession of the Saint and the offerings to her are traditional. On this day it is typical to eat “entorrados”.
SAINT AGUEDA AND SAINT APOLLO (February 5 and 9, respectively)
They are celebrated with an afternoon snack.
SAN MARCOS (April 25)
The traditional on this day is to eat the “hornazo”, a sugar cake in the shape of a ring with one or more boiled eggs.
SAN ISIDRO (May 15)
Patron saint of the city of Alcazar, a town linked to the culture of vine cultivation, celebrates the feast of the saint of farmers and ranchers in large numbers.
As tradition dictates, the Saint is taken from the Church of San Francisco in a trailer, and together with the queen and ladies of honor, he is taken to the Chapel on the hill that bears his name. The saint is preceded by another trailer occupied by the brothers and the Father Superior of the Franciscan Fathers of the locality.
Alcazareños and visitors gather at the Cerro de la Ermita de San Isidro in a traditional pilgrimage from morning until late at night.
SAINT CHRISTOPHER (July 10)
Patron saint of drivers. During the celebration, the saint is accompanied by a large caravan of trucks and cars from the church of San Francisco to his hermitage.
GRAPE HARVEST FESTIVITIES
The first weekend of October, coinciding with the grape harvest, Alcázar celebrates the feast in honor of the Virgen del Rosario, patron saint of Alcázar. The procession of the Virgin is carried out from the Church of Santa María la Mayor. Every year, titles of “alcazareños ilustres” are awarded.
