Exhibitions

Exhibitions of art collections and temporary exhibitions of painting, sculpture or photography are held throughout the year in the various exhibition spaces in Alcázar de San Juan. The municipal museums, the Luisa Alberca hall and the corridors converted into galleries of the Casa de Cultura are complemented by open spaces such as the Entorno de la Plaza de Toros.

Exhibition spaces

MUNICIPAL MUSEUM

Building from the 17th century, it is organized around a square patio, with two floors. The first is porticoed with columns and in the second there are sun galleries. In the lower part is the permanent exhibition of the museum with the archaeological heritage of the city and a sample of the painting of the artist from Alcazar Ángel Lizcano Monedero.
