The Wine Interpretation Center is located at the headquarters of the DO La Mancha. Its facilities are divided into three floors. They have a tasting room with capacity for 24 people.
In the Museum, we are shown a journey through the history of bottled wine with Designation of Origin from its creation to the present day, as it has more than 1,000 bottles from the 70s, 80s and 90s, complemented by another 500 current references.
Show more contentOne of the novelties shown to us is the installation of models in which, on the one hand, the work of the harvest in the field is recreated, both in goblet vineyards (traditional low vine) and in trellises, and on the other hand there is a curious scale recreation that includes practically all the activity of a winery in La Mancha from the harvest to the commercialization of the wine. The model is also automated and shows its hoppers and unloaders, tanks, barrel room, offices, warehouse and laboratory.
Likewise, a small Wine Interpretation Center, which was inaugurated in the fall of 2015. In this new space, in an interactive way, the senses are the compass to start the journey into the world of wine, enriched in its many nuances by the subjective perception of each of us, potential tasters from the moment we become aware of our own sensory information.
